AISI 4130 steel bar is made of high-strength, low-alloy steel that is mainly used in high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-strength industrial fields. 4130 steel is a chromium-molybdenum low-alloy steel that has much higher strength and toughness than typical steel grades. Additionally, the reduced carbon content of this alloy, while limiting strength through thickness, provides better weldability than its 4140 steel counterpart.
